Unprecedented CO2 capture technology which enables power plant and industrial CO2 emissions sources (e.g. Cement production, steel production) to capture their CO2 emissions at $8 per ton CO2 captured, making it the lowest cost option for emissions abatement. CO2 is captured at a cost below the current commercial use market value of CO2 without carbon taxes or credits (~$36 per ton), enabling a profit of ~$28 per ton of CO2 captured (makes money without carbon taxes or credits - not a parasitic expense to a CO2 emitter or tax payer).
The technology is the first and only capable of being powered by low temperature condenser water. It is also the first and only technology to internally recover heat of CO2 absorption. It has no parasitic load to a power plant. Two core novel aspects of the technology, each have applications outside of CO2 capture: - Novel non-thermal CO2 partial pressure equilibrium swing (enables the use of very low temperature heat) - Novel approach which internally pumps heat from absorber to desorber (enables nearly full recovery of heat released during absorption, significantly reducing total heat required)
